What is the isotope of hydrogen？
Protium (1H), commonly known as hydrogen, is the main stable isotope of hydrogen. Its natural abundance is 99.985%. According to atomic percentage, it is the largest element in the universe, and its content on earth is second only to oxygen. Deuterium (2H) is a stable isotope of hydrogen, also known as heavy hydrogen. The element symbol is generally D or 2H. Its nucleus consists of a proton and a neutron. The content in nature is about 7000 times that of general hydrogen, which is used in thermonuclear reaction. Tritium (3H) is a radioactive isotope of hydrogen. Its nucleus is composed of one proton and two neutrons, also known as ultraheavy hydrogen.
